A Free and Open-Source Technology Platform for Physiotherapists and Developers

By making scientific rehabilitation games freely available for physiotherapists, and opening up the source code for game developers, Open Feasyo encourages interdisciplinary collaboration and further development and customisation of these technologies.

We are a team of developers & researchers at ETRO – engineering department in electronics, ICT & biomedics – at the VUB (Vrije Universiteit Brussel).

Lubos Omelina

I am a researcher at the VUB university (Vrije Universiteit Brussel) and an enthusiastic coder. My interests are: biometrics, iris recognition, pose recognition, image processing, machine learning (yes, yes, deep learning too). I am also interested in applied research in user interfaces, serious games and productivity apps.

Katka Kostkova

Katarina received her Master of Engineering from the Slovak University of Technology (2009, Software Engineering). In 2014, she joined the team of researchers at the VUB.

She is an experienced researcher with a history of working on gamification solutions in physiotherapy for children. Katarina is skilled in all aspect of development, from ideation, first prototyping, to fine-tuning the games to therapists' needs.
